Our connection collection is a collaborative project between the Kaufhaus and HKU Fashion Design Students, including myself. Under the guidance of Sofie Ijzerman, a fellow HKU Fashion Communication student. We’ve worked throughout the month of January (2015) on a collection revolved around recycling. We selected usable clothing from twelve boxes of left over clothes during the first week. From here on we’ve made a place to “upcycle” these items, whereby granting old clothes, new life.
